from atoms to bits and back again

and value of information. Dots being connected include:

Observations and articles are posted on the Blog and tagged in the Library.

¨There's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path¨

For technology-independent solutions, we focus on evidence-based research and real-world examples.
We leave theories to the academics. Nothing wrong with them but our interest is in working solutions.

For technology-specific solutions, we specialise in Microsoft software for systems installed onsite. For
solutions hosted on the Internet, online services are still immature. Keeping a close eye on Google,
Microsoft and start-ups crossing our radar, we take advantage of available tools as they evolve.

Underpinning all activities is a passion to understand and improve how systems work. We study what
happens when people, information and technology collide. Hence the phrase 'from atoms to bits and
back again'. Technology alone is rarely the answer, you need to join the dots...
